#10 Hair today not gone tomorrow

Updated: Aug 15, 2022

Hi everyone hope you all are enjoying your version of QTL as I am. Well last week was a little slow moving at the beginning of the week but it picked up pretty good Monday night. I promised the fire-starter from the golf outing I would dog sit his and his wife’s kids. Two very well behaved shedding machine’s, two Akitas, Kai and the one and only Yukio. After they eat their night time meal they enjoy a nice walk. You may remember I am not as nimble of a ballerina as I once was. So a walk for them is a marathon for me. But the main objective of the walk is to give them their evening constitutional. It really is an excuse for them to water every tree, bush, and twig in there vicinity.

And of course the big payoff enough manure to make three grown men and a boy envious not to mention creating a fly buffet. As you can see by their pictures they were worried this article would make them to famous so I had to disguise their faces. I know I should work in the movie industry. They did not want to be recognized on the street and have to deal with all the fans. Kai gives you a loud wooooo when she sees you and behaves very well on the other hand Yukio claims to have selective hearing. But I know for a fact he is faking it because I can open a bag of Cheetos three rooms away from him and under a blanket and he thinks the dinner bell went off. They could use him to find truffles, and they don’t make any noise.

As I said they are shedding machines. A drive from work to home with the windows down is like a field of dandy lion flowers blowing around. I wish I could bottle that fur and make a nice hairpiece for myself. All and all they hung out with me in the garage and were great house guests. They left later that week and I dog sat my daughters dog Holly, a 7lb alarm clock who barks at the slightest sound. Which by the way is great at 1:30 in the morning. The reason I had her is my daughter and her husband were throwing a surprise retirement party for my son in-laws mother. His mom and dad are great people as they raised a great son in his brother Nick. I took the death trap Cuda to the party which was a good thing because I decided to upgrade it from winter project # 75 to summer project # 17. Happy to say it is progressing nicely. I've sand blasted and inhaled enough paint fumes to prove I don't have many good brain cells left, but hopefully the pay off will be a much better handling and enjoyable ride. I will keep you posted. We have also taken on a new RV adventure... boon-docking. If your not familiar it is basically camping in a class A tent. No power no water and eww no sewer. You have to be self contained. This should be an adventure ill probably only want to do once. Time will tell. Our first stab at this will be at a winery in Ohio next week. Ill tell you all the details and the name of the place next time unless I cant because I have to protect the identity of the any innocent bystanders. Until next time campers enjoy that QTL.
