Another year has come and gone and it’s time for a fresh start to another exciting camping season. I think this is the best time of year, not only do we all get to enjoy lying to ourselves (for the first few weeks of the new year) about resolution’s we make, all with good intentions that we end up not keeping, right? Well I heard the road is paved with those. Anyways, we also get to dream and plan our next spring-summer-fall camping trips. I personally have some lofty aspirations you know we are not getting younger and the QTL we have left is running out so we have to pack in as much as we can in that remaining time. Plan your trip with seeing as much as possible and find things to do and see on your way to your destination and on your way home. I usually pick a main location then see what's on the way. If our main stop is more than 500 miles from home I will look for an overnighter place to stop at. My go to of late is Harvest Hosts they are quiet and a safe place to boon dock for a night, you have many choices wineries-church parking lots-golf courses-farms etc.… Our favorites are wineries (Mrs. G.O.M’s for sure). A good bottle of vino and some good food is well worth the time. I don’t have much wisdom to bestow upon you this segment so follow your hearts and have fun. Isn’t that what its supposed to be about. Catch you next month hopefully with some adventures planned.

Happy camping and grab all the QTL you can. Its much more precious than money.

G.O.M. Out

Hi Mike, I actually read and enjoy your posts and really miss all the people I worked with for 32 years. I'm Writing from here at our home in south Fort Myers. Sadly, we have to let it go. Zoe's elderly parents moved in 2 doors from our Pittsburgh home 4 years ago and we're all they have, They need help. Zoe doesn't want to leave them anymore, I couldn't, wouldn't, shouldn't come here alone in the winter so the house is sold and we close on 3/22. SIGH!

Felt like a rock star living large here in the winter which is how I am sure you feel out cruising and touring in your RV. Anyhow I will stop i…
