Hello everyone my name is Michael or as a lot of people know me as Grumpy Old Man (GOM). I've decided in my grumpy years to start a blog of my RV adventures. It may jump around a bit but I have an advanced case of (CRS). Cant remember shit. With that being said my first RV trip of the year started Friday the 20th of May in the year of our lord 2022. It was a rather nice morning on my way to Potaskey MI with a first stop at the Monroe Koa Michigan. I set course on my trusty (Tiffin GPS). With a 1990 jeep YJ in tow. Most of the day was uneventful until my wife claims her phone GPS will get us there at least a 1/2 hour earlier. She was correct except she put the wrong campground in Toledo KOA not Monroe co/Toledo. It took me a few syllables to get her to understand the difference between Michigan and Ohio. Hiccup #1. Hiccup #2 came when I needed propane and the attendant sent me in the wrong way and I got a quick tour of the campground unexpectedly to get myself turned around. Hiccup #3 came when we set up for showers and the lovely Mrs. grumpy old man forgot to pack towels. Hiccup #4 came when hot water was needed. Lets just say GOM isn't always the sharpest pencil in the box. Remember kids hot water tanks need water to make them work. That's all I'm saying about that. All and all it was a wonderful KOA that we would stop at again.
